This precious girl's name is Kuini. It means "Queen", or a high Chieftess in the ancient Hawaiian tradition; and is a fitting name for such a beautiful little lady. Kuini is extremely shy, and has spent 75% of (my time with her) under the bed. Completely still, completely quiet, staring back at me intensely from within her safe, dark cave. But when night comes, Kuini becomes a whole different animal. These photos were taken one evening, as we hung out together, and Kuini indulged in a few of her favorite treats - aptly named Temptations - indulged in a little catnip, and hunted down her nemesis: The Mouse.
One more thing...
Kuini's Person, Lee, is the one who motivated me to create a cat-centered blog in addition to the Dog Blog. Kuini's pictures were my inspiration. So again, The Cat is my muse.
